Coffee Break
Second CRC is 'home' to the Coffee Break
ministry. It is staffed by ladies from the Fremont area
churches. Every Tuesday at 9:30 am (September-April)
fellowship and Bible study is offered for women of all ages along with a nursery and
a children's program. It is offered as a warm and
welcoming way to meet neighborhood friends and to share our
faith in community outreach. For the working woman, Evening
Coffee Break meets every Tuesday at 7:00 pm. |

55+
55+ group meets on the 3rd Thursday of the month for breakfast
and fellowship at Side Street Cafe. Throughout the
year we have activities where we share a meal together and visit
various points of interest. Our main purpose is mainly
fellowship. We call ourselves 55+, but anyone is welcome to
join us.
WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON BIBLE STUDY
The purpose of this group is to study God's Word, grow in our
knowledge of God's will for our lives, increase our relationship
with Christ and share our cares and concerns with each other.
The group meets every 2nd and 4th Wednesday at 2:00 pm from
September through April. Pastor Case leads out lessons and we
have a new topic or lesson each year. Discussion of the
lesson is followed by a time of coffee, refreshments and
fellowship. Everyone of the church, friends and neighbors
are welcome.
ADULT BIBLE STUDY
Pastor Case Admiraal leads an Adult Bible Study on Sunday
mornings following the worship service.
MOPS (Mothers of PreSchoolers)

MOPS, an international, a non-denominational support
ministry for all
mothers of preschoolers. MOPS is about meeting
the needs of moms -
every mom, through
conception to kindergarten. MOPS believes that
'Better Moms Make a Better World' and seeks to draw every mom (and
her family) one step closer to Jesus. While volunteers care
for children in age-appropriate classes and nursery, the moms
enjoy speakers, times for sharing, creative activities, and
community projects. MOPS meets the 1st and 3rd Friday of each
month from 9:00-11:00am.from Sept-May. Please come and check us
out!

pre K - 5th grade. 6th grade and up meet after the worship

person grow in faith and in knowledge in their personal
relationship to Jesus Christ.
Cadets
The Cadet Program is for boys 2nd - 8th grade. The
purpose and goal of Cadets is to help boys grow spiritually in all areas
of life (devotional, mental, physical and social). The

GEMS is designed for girls in 1st - 8th grades and is meant to
help them in the development of their relationship to God and
their Christian attitudes through adult friendships and modeling,
Bible study, projects and fellowship activities appropriate to
each group. This is accomplished by sharing devotions as a
group, conducting lessons with counselors in rooms according to
grade and making crafts. The group is combined with Trinity
Christian Reformed Church and Church of the Living Christ.
They meet at Trinity CRC (538 E Pine) on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays from
6:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Second Christian Reformed
Church’s High School (9-12th grade) youth group,
Fremont Youth Serving Him, called FYSH.
FYSH exists to help bring
high school teens into a personal and living relationship with
Jesus Christ. We hope to create a safe environment that students
can be known, nurtured, held accountable and encouraged to
celebrate and glorify God in all that we do, think and say. We
seek the Bible’s truths for what it means to be a true disciple of
Christ and how to live it out daily. We intentionally serve our
church and our community. The group meets the first and third
Sunday after the evening service during the school year and Second
Sundays during the summer, with other activities throughout the
month providing opportunities for fun, fellowship, and small group
interaction.
KIDS HOPE USA is a mentoring program that provides support
and encouragement to at-risk public elementary school children.
Training is provided for the volunteer mentors who commit to one
hour per week in a one-on-one mentoring relationship.
But the wisdom that comes from heaven is
first of all pure; then peace-loving, considerate, submissive,
full of mercy, and good fruit, impartial and sincere. James 3:17 |
