SECOND CHURCH NEWS

FOR OUR GUESTS
* Our ushers will be glad to assist you if you have any questions or needs.             
*  Please feel free to participate in those parts of the service where you feel            comfortable.
* Please do not feel obligated to participate in the offering.  This is a time for members to express their thanks to God by financially supporting the church’s ministries.
*  Childcare is available during the worship service for children ages 2 and under.
Children’s worship for children ages 3-K  and KidsOwn for grades 1-4 are held during the morning worship service.  Children will be dismissed part way into the service. 
*  Special children’s bulletins are available and will be distributed by the ushers.
*  A kid’s bag for use during the worship service is available at the Welcome Center in the center of the lobby.   
*  We invite you to join us for coffee, a cold drink, and cookies in the lobby after the service.

                OUR MORNING SERVICE:  We will be celebrating the sacrament of holy communion.  All who have professed their faith in Jesus are welcome to partake of this sacrament.  We will also proceed with the series on “Knowing What You Believe,” focusing on God making all things new. 
                OUR EVENING SERVICE:  We welcome Pastor Jim Kuiper, who will conduct our evening worship as part of a post-classis pulpit exchange.  The evening offering is for Providence Christian High School.
                THE MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDY meets this Wednesday at 2pm in the fellowship hall on the lower level.  We will study lesson 10.  Lessons can be found on the literature ledge.  Everyone is welcome.
                THE ADMINISTRATIVE TEAM meets this Wednesday evening at 7pm.
                NEXT SUNDAY:  there will not be Sunday school for the 5-8th grades or 9-12th grades due to mid-winter break.        
                GEMS girls will be selling cookie dough Feb.1 - 22.  This is to help with club expenses and for GEMS camp.  Please help support our club through this fund raiser, and see a GEMS girl to order your cookie dough and popcorn!
                DON’T FORGET to fill up your Alpha baby bottle and return it to the crib in the lobby by February 26.

Young Life

Club every Wednesday night from 8-9 at True North. Bring a friend or five.  Campaigners (Bible Study) for guys and girls are available. See Brittany for info.
