PRAYER CORNER

Ø   Dar Crawford is continuing to receive treatments in Mexico.  She is scheduled to return home within the next week.  Pray that all may go well for her.

Ø   Alden Sneller is at Providence Life Services in Zeeland for rehabilitation.  If all goes well, he is hoping to be released by the end of this week.

Ø   Pray that the nomination process for elders and deacons may go well.

Ø   Pray for the meeting of Classis Muskegon tomorrow, February 2.

Cookie Dough Sale – February 1 – 22

          Support the GEMS!  The girls will be selling cookie dough this month to help with club expenses and for GEMS camp.  See a GEMS girl to order your cookie dough and popcorn.

Communion Sunday – February 5

          This coming Sunday we will celebrate the sacrament of Lord’s Supper or Holy Communion during the morning service. 

 Special Moments Dessert Fondue Party – Thursday, February 23

          A Dessert Fondue Party for “Special Moments”—the senior singles—will be hosted by the Emmoreys on Thursday, February 23, at 3pm.  Your taste buds will never forgive you if you miss this event.  RSVP 924-1233.

Soup Supper – Friday, February 17

        Come to the Soup Supper on Friday, February 17, from 5-7:30 at Providence
Christian High School.  Sponsored by the Junior class.  Enjoy soup, salad, bread and dessert for a much-appreciated donation.  The boys and girls have a home game that evening, so come on out and enjoy the game and a great meal!

 Women’s Leadership Conference – Friday & Saturday, February 17-18

          Need some inspiration in the middle of winter?  This year’s Women’s Leadership Conference will be held on Friday and Saturday, February 17 & 18, at Cornerstone University.  The keynote speaker, Elisa Morgan, the founder of MOPS International, will wake you up and encourage your heart with truth and motivation from God’s Word like you’ve never heard it before!  Fremont’s own Bernadine Johnson will join recording artist Lisa Troyer from Moody Radio and Circle of Friends Ministry in leading in praise and worship.  If you want to make it an overnight get-away, rooms are available at the Country Inn and Suites just across from Cornerstone University on the East Beltline.  Go to www.cornerstone.edu/wlc for more details and to register on line.  Brochures are on the literature ledge in the lobby at church.  Jennie Dimkoff will be the M.C. and would love to see you there.

Possible Job Opening
